The Trail-Warfield Amalgamation Study is underway now through Fall 2027. 

The purpose of the Study is to explore the governance, service and cost implications of a potential amalgamation between the City of Trail and the Village of Warfield. The Study is guided by a Steering Committee of residents and designated Council members from both communities. At the end of the Study, the Steering Committee will make a recommendation to both Councils on whether the two communities should hold a referendum on amalgamation.
